Liquid Glucose is an aqueous nutrient saccharide solution obtained by starch hydrolysis, using corn and rice as the raw material, which is purified and condensed to the necessary solids. 

It is normally odorless and light yellow viscous liquid sweet syrup that is refined and preserved under hygienic conditions. Liquid glucose is used for the manufacture of flavored candies, chikki, and chocolates in combination with sugar. It is used to produce glucose biscuits. It helps maintain soft and fresh food products, and acts as a preservative. Hence, Sauces, jellies, chewing gums, and dried fruits are commonly used.
